The Nilgiris: More than 300 dogs of various breeds will be part of the annual three-day dog show conducted by The South of India Kennel Club’s (SIKC) in Ooty between May 3-5.
The show was flagged off this morning at the Government Arts College Grounds in Ooty. As part of the first day, obedience test and special golden retriever show was held.
Police Sniffer dog, Benny which played a major role in Kodanad case took part in the show. Owing to elections, police dogs from other districts will not be participating, this season, said the organisers.
The prizes for the winning dogs will be distributed on May 5.
