According to reports, Palani (42) of Vadamadurai near Thudiyalur here was working as a cashier in the homeopathy college owned by Martin in Kavundampalayam.
Following the raids on April 30 at more than 20 offices and properties of the lottery King here, workers and staff employed in the Martin group were also under interrogation. Cashier Palani who was under investigation since the day of the raids was released today.
But shockingly, soon after his release, he was found dead in a pond near Velliangadu that is within Karamadai Police limits. Following this, police have commenced investigation.
