An organic farmer by profession, Mayilsamy vowed that war-footing measures will be taken to restore and rejuvenate the water bodies in the constituency.
He interacted with the people in Sulur market area and briefed them on their maifesto. He also elucidated on the goodness of organic farming and why soil should be nurtured, the natural way.
He also promised that he would transform the Sulur constituency into a green constituency, if voted to power.
