Coimbatore: Coimbatore division TNSTC has begun operating special buses to Madurai, Tiruppur, Karur, Trichy, Nilgiris, Erode and other districts.
With summer vacations on, the rush to holiday destinations, native places and temple cities have begun. In view of this, the Coimbatore division of TNSTC is operating 60 special summer buses from today.
A TNSTC officer stated, "60 special buses are being operated at present till the end of this month. More buses will be added to the fleet of special buses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to combat the weekend rush."
