Coimbatore : A 27-year-old man from Narayanasamy Street in Ramanathapuram here who self immolated, after his lover's parents denied him chance to marry his girlfriend died at the Coimbatore government hospital on Monday night.
Coimbatore : A 27-year-old man from Narayanasamy Street in Ramanathapuram here who self immolated, after his lover's parents denied him chance to marry his girlfriend died at the Coimbatore government hospital on Monday night.
Immanuel Rajkumar (27) who is working as a supervisor in a packaged drinking water company on Sunday committed suicide by setting him on fire in front of his lover's home in Periyar Nagar in Puliyakulam. Police report confirm that Rajkumar's lover's parents did not accept their wedding and hence he had tried to self-immolate in front of their residence to prove his love for their daughter.
Rajkumar was rushed to Coimbatore GH for treatment, however he died on Monday night.
