Coimbatore: Srinivasan (25) hailing from Tiruvallur District was part of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Force. He met with an accident at Sungam by-pass road yesterday while on a two-wheeler along with Kuniyamuthur Sub Inspector, Kuppuraj.
Coimbatore: Srinivasan (25) hailing from Tiruvallur District was part of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Force. He met with an accident at Sungam by-pass road yesterday while on a two-wheeler along with Kuniyamuthur Sub Inspector, Kuppuraj.
Srinivasan had arrived in Coimbatore on election duty. His vehicle was hit by another two-wheeler while taking a turn on the Ukkadam–Sungam by-pass road. Having sustained serious injuries in the accident, he was rushed to CMCH where he died, in spite of being treated at the ICU. Kuppuraj is now in a private hospital, undergoing treatment.
