A total of 8,87,992 students appeared for the exams in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The results were announced by the TN higher secondary department at 9:30 am, today. 

Tirupur districts tops the list by securing 95.37% of pass percentage, followed by Erode 95.23%, Perambalur 95.15%, Coimbatore 95.01%. 

Out of the 7083 government schools in the State, 1281 schools have achieved 100% pass percentage. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result at the official websites - tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in.
