Coimbatore: District Collector and Returning Officer K.Rajamani thanked all the people who supported the District Administration for the smooth conduct of the election in a peaceful manner.
The thanks note from the District Collector said "Parliament election for Coimbatore and Pollachi constituencies concluded in a smooth manner, without any law and order issues. I thank the political parties and candidates who supported the district administration throughout the election process.
I thank and appreciate the flying squad who were part of elaborate election duties especially monitored the election code of conduct".
The Collector also thanked all polling booth officers, police personnel, social organizations, all government offices in the district, government and private schools, colleges, public and private sectors, voluntary organizations for helping spread the awareness on 100 percent voting.
He also thanked the Regional Development Officers, Corporation, Municipality and Panchayat officers, Welfare Officer for Differently abled and various service organizations who supported the differently abled voters to cast their vote at ease.
"I thank and appreciate the Assistant Election Officers and Thasildhars of Coimbatore and Pollachi constituencies for their excellent job. And, also the DCPs, ADCPs and SP and other police personnel who assured the safety of the voters to cast their vote without any fear by implementing strict Law and Order in the District.
I thank the Editors, Photographers and Videographers of various Media and Press who supported the District administration to conduct the election in a smooth manner, and also worked in a productive way to make sure that complete details of the election, awareness activities about the election, election code of conduct reach the public in the best possible manner.", the release noted.
