A car with registration number KL O7 M 2181 was reportedly heading toward Kerala from Coimbatore. The over speeding car had hit 2 two-wheelers near Kovaipudur and Perur but had moved on without stopping. After the police heard that the public had nabbed the driver when the car had hit a barricade, they rushed to the spot to arrest the person who was found in a drunken state. Following this, the police have registered a case against the person who drove the car.
