Coimbatore : A mechanic has been hacked to death by a six-member gang in Coimbatore.
Parandhaman (40) of Meena Estate at Chettipalayam here owns a mechanic workshop near Podanur-Chettipalayam railway gate. While he was at work in his mechanic shop, around 11.30 am today, a six member gang on 3 two-wheelers hacked Parandhaman to death. The gang also threatened a lady worker and two male workers in the shop.
On information, the police came to the spot and recovered the corpse which was sent to the Coimbatore Government hospital for post-mortem. Notably, before carrying out the murder, the gang destroyed all the CCTVs installed at the shop.
