Coimbatore : Black Thunder Theme Park has been awarded the 'Best Theme Park' for the year 2018-2019.
Vincent Adaikalaraj, the Executive Director of Black Thunder received the award at a function held at the Mumbai Exhibition Center. The award is a recognition of the purposeful hard work and professional experience that the Executive Director had displayed over the years in order to implement 'Black Thunder' as the best theme park for the public .
Addressing a press meet, Vincent Adaikalaraj said, “Amusement industries will only get better by advertising new and exciting thrills in the water theme park. Black Thunder had received many awards from IAAPI in the past. Black Thunder is not only entertaining, but also gives happiness and peace to those who visit here. Our facilities like the luxury hotel, water rides, the mind-blowing dry ride, boat ride etc has won us this award."
Black Thunder and Thunder World have been a huge draw for tourists from all over Tamil Nadu and other states. Black Thunder Theme Park is a water theme park located at the foot of Nilgiris, near Mettupalayam and occupies an area of about 75 acres. The park offers about 49 rides, Surf Hill and the Wild River Ride being the notable among them.
