As part of this, government officials in Coimbatore were led by the District Collector, K Rajamani to take an oath at the District Collectorate today. Pollachi Electoral Officer and District Revenue Officer, Ramadurai Murugan, Sub-Collector (trainee) Sneha and many other government officials participated in this event.
Later, the District Electoral Officer and District Collector Rajamani said, "To ensure 100 percent voting and create awareness, the District administration along with the District electoral office are taking various measures such as wall posters, short films, pamphlet distribution and street drama.
Giant balloons are also flown to create awareness among voters. Many awareness programs have been conducted by the Corporation, NGOs and colleges." "As part of this, an oath-taking event was held at the District Collectorate," he added.
