Coimbatore: Murugan, a labourer from Kumbakonam was at the Coimbatore Collectorate today with his two children to petition the Collector to find his wife.
Coimbatore: Murugan, a labourer from Kumbakonam was at the Coimbatore Collectorate today with his two children to petition the Collector to find his wife.
His petition stated, "My wife is Priya and I have a 7-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. A month ago, my wife went to my son’s school to give him his lunch but did not return home. The police have filed a case and are investigating. It was found that Priya’s cell phone was switched off at Coimbatore. I request the police to investigate and find my wife. Both my children are suffering due to her absence. If my wife is not found, I will commit suicide along with my two children.”
The police assured Murugan that appropriate action will be taken after investigation and guided him to the Race Course police station to question him in detail.
