Coimbatore: Hundreds of people have rounded-up a 20-feet container near Aathupaalam here suspecting that loads of cash is being transported through the truck.
Coimbatore: Hundreds of people have rounded-up a 20-feet container near Aathupaalam here suspecting that loads of cash is being transported through the truck.
The irked public surrounded the truck and demanded the driver to open the container, however the driver denied to open the lock. The driver claimed that the truck is loaded with tea powder packets whereas the public suspect foul play.
The public from the spot also note that two other similar trucks just passed and the third truck toppled here. As elections are nearing, we suspect if the truck is carrying cash for distributing for votes.
It is reported that the officials from the election flying squad have rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile, reports say that the public have punctured the tyres of the truck.
