"Stalin has violated the model code of conduct", election officer files case

While campaigning for Pollachi DMK candidate, Shanmuga Sundaram at Thondamuthur here on April 4, MK Stalin said that he has got compelling proofs for the corruption by Minister SP Velumani. He also vowed that after DMK resumes power, the Minister will be sent to prison. 

Stalin also added that he would not release the proofs now because the AIADMK government and the Minister would tamper them.

"Bar Nagaraj who was arrested for assaulting the brother of the complainant in the infamous Pollachi sexual assault is bold because he is backed by Minister SP Velumani’ Stalin alleged during the meeting. 

Claiming the allegations to be baseless and misleading, the advocates of AIADMK 

had filed two complaints against Stalin at the Thondamuthur and Kuniyamuthur police stations, respectively. 

Meanwhile, the flying squad officer of Pollachi constituency, Thirumalaisamy filed a complaint with Pollachi taluk police station that MK Stalin have spoken by violating model code of conduct. 

Following this, case has been filed against Stalin under IPC 505(2),153,171(g)125 and Representation of the People Act, 1951.
