Coimbatore: Sathish Kumar who has been arrested in connection to the murder of the 20-year old college student has been remanded under police custody.
A 20-year old female student of a local college in the city was found murdered on the Pollachi-Dharapuram Road on April 6. Four special police teams were formed to catch the culprit. Meanwhile, the police arrested the woman's kin, Sathish Kumar who confessed to the crime. Following this, Magistrate Revathi remanded him to police custody for 15 days. He is now lodged at the Coimbatore Central Prison.
