During the rally, he said, “Nilgiris district is Amma's own district. Whatever projects were implemented during Amma's regime will be implemented now in a similar manner.”

“The projects to uplift Tamil Nadu economically will be implemented here. Salary will be raised for TANTEA employees. Patta will be made available under Section 17 land issues. A fair decision will be taken regarding the water problem and the market shop rental problem. If the country should be safe, Modi should be elected as the Prime Minister again," reiterated Eddapadi K Palaniswamy.
Slamming DMK leader Stalin and DMK candidate Raja, the CM said, "He is acting like a kangaroo court leader. Raja is a candidate who earned money from AIR (2g spectrum). Raja went to prison on corruption charges. Why do you want to cast your vote for Raja who will be going to prison again?”
“Stalin is connecting me with the Kodanad murder cases, which is an utter lie. Stalin was not elected as the party leader till Karunanidhi was there. An inquiry will be done on Stalin for keeping Karunanidhi under house arrest for two years and grabbing the leader post,” alleged the CM.
