Coimbatore : The flying squad have seized one rifle without license and 5 bullets at Sanganoor here. A total of Rs.8 crores cash has been confiscated by the election squad teams in Coimbatore till date, of which Rs.2.50 crores have been returned to the concerned persons after receiving legal documents.

Meanwhile, the flying squad team headed by officer Rajeswari conducted a search at Sanganoor Road and the police confiscated cash from the vehicle of a company named Safe Card Writer at Varadharajapuram, Singanallur. It was said that the cash was to be filled in an ATM. Officials also seized a rifle and five bullets from Sachin Kumar, the security guard in the vehicle since he did not possess a license for the same.
Officials informed the vehicle driver that the amount and rifle can be recovered after filing appropriate documents.
