Coimbatore: A 20-year old female student of a local college in the city was found murdered on the Pollachi-Dharapuram Road.
Coimbatore: A 20-year old female student of a local college in the city was found murdered on the Pollachi-Dharapuram Road.
The parents of the student from Ottanchathiram had filed a missing complaint of their daughter with the Kattoor Police Station, in Gandhipuram here. The police had registered a case and commenced investigation. Meanwhile, based on information, the police retrieved the corpse of a woman from the bushes on the Pollachi-Dharapuram road. Police said that they found the woman murdered with her throat slit.
The police have commenced investigation to ascertain if the woman was raped and then murdered.
