Coimbatore : Even as the city gears up for elections in less than two weeks, political bigwigs from various parties descended on the city to campaign and garner support for their candidates or allied partners. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Edappadi K Palaniswami will arrive in Coimbatore tomorrow, to campaign for the AIADMK- BJP alliance.
Coimbatore : Even as the city gears up for elections in less than two weeks, political bigwigs from various parties descended on the city to campaign and garner support for their candidates or allied partners. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Edappadi K Palaniswami will arrive in Coimbatore tomorrow, to campaign for the AIADMK- BJP alliance.
Edappadi Palaniswami is kick-starting his election campaign at Dindigul and will reach Coimbatore tomorrow evening via Ottanchathiram, Dharapuram, Udumalaipet and Pollachi. The CM will then campaign at Kurichi, Sundarapuram and Thondamuthur, supporting the AIADMK Pollachi candidate C Mahendran. He will later campaign at Ukkadam, garnering support for C P Radhakrishnan, the BJP candidate who is contesting from the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency.
The CM then plans to campaign in Nilgiris on Monday for the Nilgiris AIADMK candidate M Thiagarajan and then travel on to Tiruppur to garner support for M S M Anandan, the AIADMK candidate for Tiruppur parliamentary constituency.
