Coimbatore: PSG College of Technology has signed an MoU with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) on March 29.
The MoU will facilitate setting up of PSG-HPE Center for Teaching and Experiencing Security and infrastructure.
Dr.R.Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and Naresh Shah, President, HPE, India R&D, Bangalore signed the MoU, shaping the Academic Institute-Industry partnership.
“This MoU will empower the students, researchers and professors with emerging techniques to carry out the research and apply the same for the benefit of the society”, said Dr.R.Rudramoorthy in a press release.
“This initiative will help the professors, researchers and students to better understand and meet the growing needs of the industry and we are happy to donate two HPE Industry Standard Servers”, said Naresh Shah, President, HPE, India R&D, Bangalore.
“HPE has provided a great initiative for the students to promote their skills and enhance their knowledge,” said Dr. R. Venkatesan, Dean Placements and Professor, Department of CSE,PSG College of Technology,Coimbatore.
“We feel that the PSG-HPE Center for Teaching and Experiencing Security and infrastructure is to foster collaboration and act as a catalyst for research, education, and entrepreneurship”,said the PSG-HPE Coordinator Dr.G.R.Karpagam, Professor and Associate Head, Department of CSE, PSG college of Technology,Coimbatore.
“We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with PSG College of Technology for creating awareness and exposure tosecurity and digital protection service", said Srihari Srinivasan, Engineering Manager, HPE.
