Goondas Act slapped against three repeat offenders in Coimbatore

Coimbatore : The Goondas Act has been slapped against three repeat offenders who have been known for committing various crimes, in and around Coimbatore.


Coimbatore : The Goondas Act has been slapped against three repeat offenders who have been known for committing various crimes, in and around Coimbatore. 

Niranjan son of Rajendran from Veera Keralam, Arun Reegan alias Arun Hasan son of Punniyamoorthy of Vadavalli and Karthik son of Rajendran of the same area have more than 10 cases registered against them including murder, robbery and abduction cases. The police have been on the lookout for them for the past few years. They had also damaged a TASMAC bar and assaulted a woman. Since the trio have been involved in various crimes, the District Collector Rajamani slapped the Goondas Act on them as suggested by the Superintendent of Police Sujit Kumar IPS and the Deputy Superintendent of the Perur division Balamurugan.
