Coimbatore : Even as TPDK cadres were issuing pamphlets to the public at the Kaniyur toll plaza, today, an argument broke out between TPDK and BJP cadres at the spot.
The pamphlets had slogans stressing the need to remove expired toll plazas and support the DMK alliance to prevent the high toll collection being done, presently.
On hearing this, BJP cadres gathered at the spot and opposed the issuing of the pamphlets. Following this, an argument broke out between both parties but the Karumathampatti police's timely intervention at the spot to pacify both parties avoided undue conflict.
