The Nilgiris: Deputy CM O Panneerselvam has alleged that DMK Chief M K Stalin is seeking political gain through the Kodanad issue.


The Nilgiris: Deputy CM O Panneerselvam has alleged that DMK Chief M K Stalin is seeking political gain through the Kodanad issue. 

Addressing the media in the Nilgiris, Deputy CM O Panneerselvam said, "In a bid to carry out fair elections, the Income tax department is carrying out raids since the day model code of conduct came to effect. While the IT officials are just performing their duty, M K Stalin is trying to personalise the issue and gain sympathy among people".

Commenting on Rahul Gandhi contesting in Wayanad constituency he said "It shows the weakness of the Congress President, Rahul Gandhi. AIADMK alliance will win in all the constituencies in the upcoming elections". 

Earlier, the Deputy CM was in the Nilgiris district to gather support for M. Thiyagarajan who has been fielded against DMK's A. Raja in the Nilgiris, this time.
