Nearly 5 lakhs workers have lost their jobs. Printing Press of Central government and Sugarcane research Centre in Coimbatore were closed during Modi's regime" noted Vaiko, MDMK President here in Tuesday.
Addressing the public meeting organised by the secular progressive alliance led by DMK, the MDMK Chief slammed that the State government is acting as a slave to the Centre and that CM, Edapadi fears on hearing the names of Modi and Amit Shah. In this scenario, how can we expect him to voice for our State?.
"Unemployment in India is at its peak. Several industries have shut down their units in Tamil Nadu. Ford, Honda and a company from Korea have withdrawn their production units here, due to the interference of the State government who seek high commissions", he said.
"Seconding, Stalin's promise to waive all farmer's loan, Congress President, Rahul Gandhi has also voiced the same. Election manifesto of Congress and DMK seems to be alike. DMK alliance will emerge victorious in all the constituencies", he noted.
