NTK urges District Election Officer to ensure proper visibility of 'sugarcane farmer' symbol

Coimbatore: Kalyanasundaram, the Naam Tamilar Katchi candidate for the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency has appealed to the District Collector and District Electoral Officer K Rajamani that the 'sugarcane farmer' symbol was not visible on the EVM machine and urged him to make it more visible.


Coimbatore: Kalyanasundaram, the Naam Tamilar Katchi candidate for the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency has appealed to the District Collector and District Electoral Officer K Rajamani that the 'sugarcane farmer' symbol was not visible on the EVM machine and urged him to make it more visible. 

Following this, Kalyanasundaram addressed the media saying, "Our party is competing against national parties and against the former MPs who did not fulfill their promises. Meanwhile, in a slip provided to our party member in Krishnagiri, all the other party symbols are visible whereas our party symbol ‘sugarcane farmer’ is not visible. If modifications are not made as assured by the Electoral Officer, we will meet the Chief Electoral Officer and carry out legal proceedings," he stated.
