Madurai High Court bench bans prank videos

Madurai : The High Court bench of Madurai has banned the making and release of prank videos. After hearing the case requesting to ban the Tik–Tok videos in Tamil Nadu, the Justice ordered that prank videos which could lead to the loss of lives and used wrongly by youth ought to be banned.

Tik-Tok was introduced in China, in 2016 and became popular thereafter in 75 languages across the globe.
