Unidentified man spits on TTV Dhinakaran’s convoy in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Tension prevailed in the Olympus 80-feet-Road after an unidentified man spat on the election convoy of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam’s (AMMK) Deputy General Secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran on Tuesday evening.


Coimbatore: Tension prevailed in the Olympus 80-feet-Road after an unidentified man spat on the election convoy of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam’s (AMMK) Deputy General Secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred when Dhinakaran was campaigning at Olympus for Appadurai, the electoral candidate for Coimbatore Constituency.

Hundreds of party cadres and public gathered at the spot to witness his speech. He was even offered a sword, while he was campaigning near the Palani Aandavar temple near Olympus. 

Unexpectedly, a man spat on his convoy and bolted from the scene. This created a stir during the campaign.
