Coimbatore: On a heated campaign trail for the AMMK candidate Ramasamy in Mettupalayam which is part of the Nilgiris parliamentary constituency, the AMMK Deputy General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran said, "PMK is the party which opposed building a memorial for the late former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, whereas DMDK is the party which opposed to even place her portrait.
Now AIADMK has forged an alliance with both these parties. Confusion is prevailing in the DMK alliance due to different political stances of the Communist parties. M K Stalin is saying that Rahul Gandhi is his Prime Ministerial candidate whereas the Communist party which has allied with the DMK is firm in winning against Rahul Gandhi in Kerala who is contesting from the Wayanad constituency. The parties which are in alliance with the Congress in Tamil Nadu show firm opposition to the Congress in the nearby state Kerala," mocked TTV Dhinakaran."

"If BJP comes to power, DMK will jump to that coalition. Hence, the votes in opposition to BJP will be cast for our party since we firmly oppose both the State and Central governments. We will not have any relationship with the BJP at any cost," he reiterated.
