The Nilgiris : TTV Dhinakaran is on a campaigning spree in Nilgiris, in support of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) candidate M Ramasamy who is contesting from the Nilgiris constituency.
During his campaign, he assured the people of Nilgiris saying, "A multi-level hospital will be built in Nilgiris and that there will be permanent solution for the persisting drinking water problem in Nilgiris."

Addressing the media, TTV Dhinakaran said, "The list of AMMK candidates was prepared after discussing with Chinnamma (sasikala) on March 14." Commenting on the situation in Kerala, he opined, "The Communist Party in Kerala opposing Rahul Gandhi contesting in Wayanad shows their disunity."
"The Ruling party is trying to halt the elections by income tax raids in the houses of our candidates. They are conducting these IT raids with the intention of curbing the activities of opposition parties. We will find out in whose favour Madurai Aadheenam is acting and legal action will be taken against him," he added.
TTV Dhinakaran felt that it would be the MPs elected in Tamil Nadu who will decide and elect the Prime Minister this time. "The DMK and AIADMK who were defeated in the R K Nagar election, after distributing Rs.6000 to people, are now blaming us," he scoffed. "95 percentage of Amma's workers are in AMMK. Edappadi K Palaniswami’s rule will come to an end after this election," reiterated TTV Dhinakaran.
