Coimbatore : With the State gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and Assembly by-elections, the bigwigs of mainline political parties including DMK Chief Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam and BJP National President, Amit Shah arrive in Coimbatore today, for campaigning.

TTV Dhinakaran, Deputy General Secretary of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam will also be campaigning for his party candidates here.
Stalin will be addressing a rally in Mettupalayam to garner votes for the Nilgiris constituency candidate of the United Non-Religious Front, A Raja. Amit Shah will be addressing a rally at Sivanandha Colony in the city to garner votes for C R Radhakrishnan, the National Democratic Alliance candidate from Coimbatore constituency.
OPS is expected to campaign in areas including Ramanathapuram, Podanur and Selvapuram int he city, while TTV Dhinakaran is on a mission to garner votes for his candidates from the Nilgiris, Coimbatore and Pollachi constituencies.
