Coimbatore : Six days after a seven year old child was raped and murdered, a 34-year-old man was produced before the District Mahila Court's Magistrate on Sunday night and remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
Coimbatore : Six days after a seven year old child was raped and murdered, a 34-year-old man was produced before the District Mahila Court's Magistrate on Sunday night and remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
In order to avoid media and public gathering during the remanding process, the police brought him to the Government hospital in a private cab on Sunday night and after due check up he was taken to the house of the Magistrate of District Mahila Court near Sungam.
The Magistrate ordered him 15 days judicial custody. Later, the accused Santhosh Kumar was taken to the Central prison.
