Coimbatore: In the shocking child rape and murder case, the police has named Santhosh Kumar from Thondamuthur as accused and confirmed that the DNA reports match.
Coimbatore: In the shocking child rape and murder case, the police has named Santhosh Kumar from Thondamuthur as accused and confirmed that the DNA reports match.
However, questions have been raised if Santhosh Kumar is the only accused in the case or if others are yet to be nabbed. In this scenario, a video footage of police taking Santhosh Kumar and one other person to the Government hospital on Saturday noon has been released.
The accused Santhosh Kumar was taken to the 'yellow zone' area at the GH for semen detection tests and forensic DNA testing which are indispensable tools for solving cases of rape and assault in order to bring perpetrators to justice.
Following a DNA match report, the police announced Santhosh Kumar as accused. However, the status of the other person who was brought along with him is unknown. Whether, he will also be implicated in the case is yet to be known.
