The training session for teachers who are about to carry out election duty at Tirupur South Legislative Assembly which comes under Tirupur Parliamentary constituency commenced today. Teachers working at the schools in Southern Constituency of Tirupur took part in the session. District collector K S Palanisamy inaugurated the session and interacted with the teachers.
Teachers were also given training on using the Voter Verification Paper Trail (VVPAT).
District collector issues warning to teacher who spoke in phone:
While district collector K.S. Palanisamy was addressing the teachers at Tirupur Jivabhai School, one among the teachers started to speak over the phone. Following this, Collector reprimanded the teacher and asked the person to be responsible.
