The police has issued an official report to the District Court No:1 stating the sections filed in the case - Sec 302, 376 (A) IPC 5(I), 5(m) r/w 6 of the POCSO Act. In the detailed report, Inspector Boopathy who received the complaint from the parents on the evening of March 25 has confirmed that the child was sexually assaulted before murder, according to the autopsy report.
The autopsy report has also confirmed that the child's mouth was tied with a cloth and an object like a rope was found around the child's neck. It also states that the anal examination of the child revealed that the child was repeatedly raped before she was murdered.
