Tirupur : "Modi and Rahul cannot be compared on the same scale. While Modi is like a mountain; Rahul is like a pit", criticised DMDK leader, Premalatha Vijayakanth in Tirupur.
She was here in Tirupur on Wednesday to campaign for MSM Anandan who is the candidate for Tirupur Constituency.
"This election is a very crucial one. The mega AIADMK led alliance is a winning alliance. To the contrary, the Congress-DMK alliance is a symbol of corruption. The opposition alliance does not even have a Prime Ministerial candidate. Inspite of various tactics used by the opposite parties, our alliance was formed", she noted.

"Interlinking of rivers will be taken up on priority. As requested by industries, GST rates will be slashed down", she added.
Premalatha Vijayakanth also revealed that DMDK wanted to contest in Tirupur, however following the CM's request we gave up the seat.
"Captain will campaign this elections. An announcement regarding the same would be announced shortly", she said.

Cloning the style of late AIADMK Supremo J. Jayalalitha, Premalatha questioned the people, will you vote for two leaves? Will u make the alliance win this election?
During the campaign, Premalatha was in all praise for the DMDK - AIADMK alliance which she calls it as a 'natural and destined' alliance.
"Both parties have four letter names. Both parties have three colors. Party men in our alliance are god fearing humble and courageous people. They dont go to parotta shop or beauty parlour and manhandle people", she hailed their alliance.
