'Bar' Nagaraj who was arrested on charges of assaulting the brother of a 19-year-old victim, who lodged complaint against Thirunavukkarasu and 3 others in the Pollachi sexual abuse case, was investigated for fours hour.
Earlier, he was released on bail by the Judicial magistrate court and was summoned by the CB-CID to appear for investigation today.

After the investigation he addressed the media and said, "I have given answers to the questions raised by CB-CID officials including the questions on the assault of the brother of the girl who filed the complaint. I was investigated based on the statement from Thirunavukkarasu.’
‘Opposition parties have politicised this issue’ he added.
Manimaran who is the son of DMK's Coimbatore rural district secretary Thendral Selvaraj have also been summoned by CB-CID. As he was expected to appear for investigation, members of DMK advocate wing appeared on behalf of him and submitted letter with directives of high court in front of CB-CID.
