Nomination papers of 10 lok sabha candidates have been approved and finalised for the Nilgiris parliamentary constituency on Wednesday.
Filing of nomination commenced from March 19 to 26 for the first and second phase of constituencies. Among the nominations filed in the Nilgiris constituency, AIADMK candidate M Thiyagarajan, DMK candidate A Raja, MNM candidate, N Rajendran, Bahujan Samaj candidate Ashok Kumar and 6 other independent candidates were approved.
Tomorrow is the last date of withdrawing the applications, a release noted.
With little time left to woo the voters, the candidates have commenced their campaign to ensure victory in the polls.
