P.R. Natarajan who will be competing under the secular democratic alliance was accompanied by G.Ramakrishnan (Tamilnadu Secretary, Indian Communist Party), N.Karthik MLA of DMK, Pongalur N.Palanisamy (DMK asset protection committee Head), Ganapathy Sivakumar (INC), MDMK R.R.Mohan Kumar, V.S. Sundaram of ICP, Vadivel of KMDK, cadres of Viduthalai Siruthaigal and others.
Also, the members of Adi Thamizhar Peravai, Indian Communist Muslim League, Manitha Neya Makkal Katchi along with hundreds of people were part of the campaign.
