Coimbatore: Bar Nagaraj who was arrested in the Pollachi sexual abuse and extortion racket for assaulting the brother of the victim and later released on bail, appeared at the CB-CID in Coimbatore in regard to the ongoing investigation.
Coimbatore: Bar Nagaraj who was arrested in the Pollachi sexual abuse and extortion racket for assaulting the brother of the victim and later released on bail, appeared at the CB-CID in Coimbatore in regard to the ongoing investigation.
Bar Nagaraj reportedly assaulted the brother of a 19-year old victim who lodged a complaint against the key accused Thirunavukkarasu and three other men. Later, he was released on bail by the judicial magistrate court.
Meanwhile, CB-CID had summoned Bar Nagaraj to appear for investigation today. Following this, Bar Nagaraj appeared at the CB-CID office near Avinashi Road here today. Earlier, the case which was investigated by the District police had been transferred to the CB-CID. Tamil Nadu Congress' Working President, Mayura Jayakumar too had been summoned by CB-CID to appear for the ongoing investigation. CB-CID has also summoned Manimaran who is the son of DMK's Coimbatore Rural District Secretary, Thendral Selvaraj.
