Coimbatore: In a distinct yellow garb, 'Election King' Noor Mohammed grabbed the attention of people at the Coimbatore District Revenue Office while filing his nomination to contest in the Pollachi constituency.
Noor Mohammed turned heads once again today, as he arrived at the District Collectorate on a horse, trotting his way from the city's railway station up to the District Collectorate to file his nomination, this time round with the District Collector, K Rajamanai. He is contesting in elections for the 29th time.

A trot down memory lane with Noor Mohammed from Sundarapuram unfolds age-old electoral anecdotes which feature his contest against the late TN Chief Minister J Jayalalitha in the Andipatti constituency. His hunting grounds include constituencies like Tiruchirapalli, Thuruvannur, Madurai, Sathankulam, Thiruchendur, Thirumangalam and R K Puram. He had earlier contested in Pollachi too. Till date, having reaped 5000 votes, Noor Mohammed confidently says he will continue to contest as a candidate in all future elections too.
