Coimbatore : With today being the last day for filing nominations by parties to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Naam Tamilar Katchi's (NTK) candidate, 35-year old A Sanuja filed her nomination papers at the Collectorate to compete from the Pollachi constituency.

Sanuja will be contesting on the 'sugarcane farmer' symbol at Pollachi where she will face candidates like C Mahendran (AIADMK) and Shanmugasundaram (DMK).
Earlier, Seeman, the Chief-coordinator of NTK had announced that the party has allocated 50 percent quota for women to contest in the current Lok Sabha elections. A Sanuja is one among the 20 women candidates of NTK to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
