S Kalyanasundaram of Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) filed his nomination papers at the Coimbatore Collectorate. He will be contesting on his party's newly allotted symbol 'Sugarcane Farmer.' Kalayanasundaram had earlier contested in the 2016 Assembly elections for the Singanallur constituency in Coimbatore.
