Foresters have further advised the people of the area to not walk alone during night time and also avoid going to tea estates alone.

Since a reported tiger attack was recorded in the neightbouring district of Wayanad in Kerala, foresters have claimed that it could be the same tiger that has moved into the area.
It may be noted that a tiger had attacked two foresters who were on parole in the forests of Wayanad a few days ago.
