Samsool, a contract worker from Bihar was engaged in the road expansion work at Lovedale in Ooty. While the workers were laying pillars and iron bars for building a bridge, the iron bars collapsed on Samsool causing him grievous injuries.
His co-workers immediately rescued him and admitted him to Ooty general hospital who presently is said to be in a critical state.
