Coimbatore: Amidst a huge gathering and fanfare, Kamal Haasan, Founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam would be announcing the second set of electoral candidates for the upcoming Parliamentary elections on Sunday at the CODISSIA hall.
Coimbatore: Amidst a fanfare, Kamal Haasan, Founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam would be announcing the second set of electoral candidates for the upcoming Parliamentary elections on Sunday at the CODISSIA hall.
Ahead of the meet, the party leader arrived today at the Coimbatore airport and briefed the press on tomorrow's big event.
He graciously invited all for the people and media for the event to be held on March 24, during which he would be announcing the second set of candidates and Maiam's vision for the upcoming elections.
When questioned on the caustic comment passed by Minister Rajendra Balaji that Maiam would dissipate after the elections, Kamal said that "The Minister need not worry about our party. And, AIADMK cannot predict our party's future".

He also clarified that people who were expelled from the party did not hold any important position in the party and due explanation for the same has been given.
When questioned on why party members were denied candidature instead of electoral candidates have been choosen from outside, Kamal said "The reason behind choosing electoral candidates will be elucidated during tomorrow's meet".
Dr. R Mahendran, Vice President of the Party and R. Thangavel, National organiser of All India Kamal Hassan Fan Club Association and other party cadres were present.
