Ticket Inspector lauded by police for nabbing thief on train

J R Natarajan, the Ticket Inspector of Salem division while on duty in the Shalimar to Nagercoil Express on March 14, from Katpadi noticed a man lurking suspiciously in the train.

As the train reached Katpadi Junction, Natarajan stopped the man and figured that he had stolen mobiles from train passengers. Natarajan immediately informed the Railway Police who later handed over the miscreant to the police personnel at Katpadi. 

The SP of the Railway Police in Chennai honoured the ticket checking inspector, Natarajan at Chennai with an appreciation certificate, lauding him for the quick response on the train in recognising and nabbing the thief.
