Coimbatore: C P Radhakrishnan of BJP, the Coimbatore candidate of the BJP-AIADMK alliance for the Lok Sabha elections paid homage to AIADMK MLA Kanagaraj of Sulur assembly constituency.
Kanagaraj passed away suddenly this morning, owing to a cardiac arrest.
Addressing the media, C P Radhakrishnan said, "Kanagaraj had great love for the poor. He was the companion for the poor in villages, both in and around Sulur just like MGR. My deepest condolences to the people here. May his soul rest in peace," he added.
