Coimbatore: A two-wheeler rally aimed at creating awareness on the importance of casting votes was flagged off by the District Collector Rajamani.

The Indian Election Commission is conducting various awareness programs on the importance of people casting their votes, more so to educate first-time voters. To ensure 100 percent voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a two-wheeler awareness rally hit the roads, culminating at Town Hall. The differently abled also participated int he rally.
The District Collector, Rajamani said, "Various programmes such as street play, issuing pamphlets, short films and signature movements are being conducted to reach the target of 100 percent voting in every constituency. The public should extend their support to attain the target that Coimbatore is a district that recorded the highest vote percentage," he reiterated.
