Tirupur: People residing in Keththampalayam in Tirupur staged a protest in front of the District Collectorate today, urging authorities to provide proper infrastructure for the Government Middle School in their locality.
Tirupur: People residing in Keththampalayam in Tirupur staged a protest in front of the District Collectorate today, urging authorities to provide proper infrastructure for the Government Middle School in their locality.
As many as 380 students from Bharathi Nagar, Sri Nagar and Pappathi Nagar study at the Government Middle School in Keththampalayam. But allegedly, no basic amenities are available in this school. Even the school building is said to be in a dilapidated state due to which students are seen studying sitting under trees.
"Though we have petitioned multiple times to add basic facilities to the school, no action has been initiated yet," lament residents. "The district administration should take action to add basic facilities to the school at the earliest," they noted.
